How to Set Up a Personal Hotspot on Your iPhone or iPad

Wi-Fi Hotspot

To connect to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot using Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on Personal Hotspot.
3. Turn on the Personal Hotspot toggle switch.
4. Choose a password for your hotspot.
5. On your other device, open Wi-Fi settings and connect to the hotspot network.
6. Enter the password you chose in step 4.

Bluetooth Hotspot

To connect to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot using Bluetooth, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on Personal Hotspot.
3. Turn on the Personal Hotspot toggle switch.
4. On your other device, open Bluetooth settings and pair with your iPhone.
5. Once paired, your device will automatically connect to the hotspot.

USB Hotspot

To connect to your iPhone's Personal Hotspot using USB, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on Personal Hotspot.
3. Turn on the Personal Hotspot toggle switch.
4. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
5. Your computer will automatically connect to the hotspot.

Tips

• Your Personal Hotspot will share your iPhone's cellular data connection.
• Make sure you have enough data available to avoid overage charges.
• You can set a password for your hotspot to prevent unauthorized access.
